
Mac Liman, Adrián
Adrián Mac Liman is a political analyst and international consultant. He was a correspondent for El País in the United States and worked for international media sources (ANSA, AMEX, Gráfica). He has been a habitual collaborator for Informaciones and for the magazine Cambio 16, correspondent of the war in Chipre (1974), witness to the fall of the Iranian Shah (1978) and a special correspondent of La Vanguardia during the invasion of Lebanon (1982). He resided in Jerusalem (1987-1989). Following his participation in the Euro-Mediterranean conference of Barcelona (1995), he joined the Group of Mediterranean Studies of La Sorbona as an expert.

Mahmood, Sohail
Sohail Mahmood is a Professor of the Department of Politics & IR, International Islamic University, Islamabad. Before he was the Associate Dean of the Department of International Relations at Preston University in Islamabad. With a Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Arizona University, he is one of the leading experts in the world on Musharraf and Pakistan and has published dozens of books and articles on the issue. He has written several books and monographs, as the last "Good Governance Reforms Agenda in Pakistan: Current Challenges", Nova Science Publishers, Inc., Hauppauge, New York, USA, 2007.
Martínez Vivar, Alejandro
Alejandro Martínez Vivar is an economist. He holds a Master’s in Economic Analysis and Financial Economy from the Complutense Institute of Economic Analysis, and another Master’s in Political and Institutional Policy from the Ortega y Gasset Institute. He also holds a DEA in Economy from UNED. Throughout his professional career, he has worked in regulatory institutions as well as businesses in the financial sector, Avalmadrid, Service for Studies at BBVA, CECA.

Martínez, José Luis
José Luis Martínez is a journalist, editor, and international politics analyst of the daily The Republic of Montevideo. He has a bachelor’s degree in the Science of Communication and he holds a graduate degree in European studies and European Union, Latin America, and Caribbean relations from the University of Miguel de Cervantes de Chile. He also holds a graduate degree from the National Defense University of the United States in the Planning and Administration of Defense Resources in the CHDS. He has published several books about international politics and conflicts.

Miranda, Julio
Julio Miranda holds a diploma in Contemporary Politics from the Administration and Economy Department (FAE) of the University of Santiago de Chile (Usach), and one in World Politics from the Humanities department of the Institute of Advanced Studies, Usach. He is a public accountant and auditor, as well as the author of “The adventure of undertaking” (RiL, 2004), “Science and Technology in Latin America, Fundamental Analyses and Dimensions for the Formulation of Public Policy promoting Development”, Eumed, Universidad de Málago, 2007. He is also a professor and a consultant. Finally, he is the director of Global Development & Knowledge, dedicated to carrying out pre-investment studies and sociopolitical analysis for foreign investors interested in Chile and South America.

Mirkin, Joaquín
Joaquín Mirkin is the Executive Director of the Safe Democracy Foundation. He is an expert in Political and Institutional Communication. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires, a Master’s in International Relations and Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, and another Master’s in Political and Institutional Communication from the Ortega and Gasset Institution of Madrid (thesis under review. For the past nine years he has worked in Journalism (with the Buenos Aires newspaper Page/12), Communication and International Relations, with an emphasis on community building. He has resided in Madrid for the past six years.

Morales Viteri, Juan Pablo
Juan Pablo Morales Viteri is a lawyer and professor of Law and Politics at Pontificia Catholic University of Ecuador and coordinator of the postgraduate program of the Jurisprudence Faculty of the same university. He has specialized in Human Rights and has completed a Master’s in Political Action, Institutional Strengthening and Civic Participation in the State of Law at Franciso de Vitoria University in Madrid.

Moran, Sagrario
Sagrario Morán is a professor of Political Science in the Rey Juan Carlos I University. She is an expert on ETA, terrorism and political violence. She gives classes in the Master’s in International Relations and Communication program at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has published two books, “The Spanish-French cooperation in the fight against ETA” (Doctoral Thesis, Complutense University of Madrid, 2002) and “PNV-ETA: The history of an impossible relationship” (Tecnos, 2004).

Moreno Izquierdo, Rafael
Rafael Moreno Izquierdo is a professor in the International Public Law Department at the Carlos III University of Madrid and in the Journalism Department at the Complutense University. He is an expert on Peace Operations, Conflict Management and Communication during Crisis situations. He has published “Spanish soldiers in the world” and numerous articles in magazines like Foreign Policy (Spanish edition).

Moutsatsos, Ariel
Ariel Moutsatsos is an internationalist, journalist and Mexican academic of Greek origin, and a graduate of the Monterrey Technological Institute. He holds a Master’s in International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid and a post-graduate degree in Strategic Political Analysis from the CIDE. For several years he was an International Correspondent in New York, Europe, and the Middle East for radio and TV. He served as International Editor for the daily Reforma and worked in the Club de Madrid. Currently he directs Blugroup Consulting, is a professor in the Monterrey Technological Institute and International Analyst for W Radio Mexico’s news bulletin (Prisa/Televisa).

Méndez Asensio, Luis
Luis Méndez Asensio is a postgraduate professor in the Journalism Department of the Complutense University in Madrid, and is a part of the board of directors of the Preventative Journalism and International Analysis Institute (IPPAI in its Spanish initials). He is a commentator on international politics with Spain’s Exterior Radio and other written media. Among other books, he has published “The war against time” (Planeta-Espasa Calpe), “Panama: memories of an intruder” (Claves Latinoamericanas), “Among the Honored” (Universidad de Guadalajara) and “Accountant” (Plaza y Valdés).
